Mary Mackillop's Feast day

In honour of our school patron Saints' Feast day our class decided to show service and have some fun with paint and some sports activities. With our Soul Buddy classes we taught them some physical activities, art and we read to them in the library.

To make things more interesting some of us students made some forts, put some blankets over the tables and put some cushions inside.

The children we collected had lots of fun but also learnt some things about Mary Mackillop through their journey. We also had fun guiding them and teaching them. It really taught us to be future leaders. It was a great experience for both us and the kids we were kept with and we had great time Celebrating our school role model.'

Welcome to 2018!

Kia Ora, Talofa, Malo E Lelei and Fakaalofa Lahi Atu to all parents and families!
Welcome to 2018, happy new year!

In Room D1, we have hit the ground running with many amazing opportunities to collaborate, discuss and learn together as a class.

Our learning topic for the term is 'CITIZENSHIP' with special focus on the school value of 'Excellence.'

This week, your child will come home with their 'Pepeha' a traditional introduction of them, their family and their cultural background. Please have meaningful conversation with your child about your culture and where you come from. It is important that to know themselves as learners, they must learn about their roots.

We look forward to learning together this year, and have made a great start so far.

Iehova he vahaloto,

Kia Monuina!
